Big congratulations on Toby today winning the youth competition at 147 Sports today. I know that playing Lacie in the final would have been an especially hard game as Lacie is an outstanding young woman of the game. Merlin's Pool Hall are extremely proud of this young man who is such a lovely young man on & off the table . Massive thank to Karl Page for putting on this competition for the youths. Young Thomas came to collect 4 new cues, some shiny new pool balls and chalk for the Marlborough Youth Centre today. Merlin's Pool Hall are always happy to help where we can and these youngsters are our future, it's great to see them excited about what we are passionate about. The work that Louise & Lisa do for the youths in Marlborough is extremely admirable, people often complain about the 'young ones' forgetting they were young once themselves, giving these young people an outlet and a chance to come together is such a wonderful thing to do and I can only imagine the hard work and dedication it takes.
